Frank Gramarosso

Frank Gramarosso was named the head coach of the North Central men's track and field program in August of 2010 after 28 years on the Cardinals' staff. He directly coaches North Central's sprinters, long and triple jumpers and relay squads. Prior to the 2020-2021 academic year, Gramarosso was named the Cardinals' head men's cross country coach as well, succeeding legendary head coach Al Carius (H) '16 after 54 years. Gramarosso has been a member of the North Central coaching staff for a total of 38 seasons.

He joined the North Central staff in 1983 and was named a full-time assistant coach in 1985. Since coming aboard, Gramarosso has coached the middle-distance runners, pole vaulters, hurdlers, sprinters, decathletes and relay teams at one time or another.
