BONDURANT, Iowa (Sept. 24, 2017) – Continuing to improve on past performances, the North Central College women's triathlon team saw two athletes place at the top of their divisions and all three place in the top-15 overall on Sunday at the Cyman Triathlon in Bondurant, Iowa, hosted by the Iowa State Triathlon Club.
 
Katherine Canfield recorded a fourth place finish overall and claimed the top spot in the 20-29 year old division, completing the sprint triathlon in one hour, 20 minutes, and .03 seconds.. Ashley Eisenmenger finished tenth overall and first in the Para-Triathlete division with a time of 1:30. 36.
 
Mary Wrobel rounded out the Cardinals' squad, placing 12th overall with a time of 1:32.51 and second in the 20-29 year old division.
 
The Cardinals travel to Berkeley, Calif. for the USA Triathlon West Region Qualifier on Saturday, Sept. 30.  Race time is to be announced.
