Feb. 5, 2014 – North Central College's Connor Sass has been named College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Co-Men's Tennis Player of the Week, for the week of Jan. 27-Feb. 2.

Sass shares the honor with Augustana College's Connor Woolf, after going 4-0 last weekend as the Cardinals took down Greenville College, 5-4 before defeating Simpson College in the nightcap 6-3.

Sass opened the afternoon with a 6-2, 0-6, 10-3 win over Greenville's Demetrius Bush at No. 5 singles, then teamed up with Mason Sass to defeat Ryan Haas and Alex Dowley at No. 2 doubles.

Against Simpson, the freshman opened with an 8-0 victory over Mike Rundle at No. 5 singles, before the Sass brothers downed Geoff Converse and Dylan Hogan, 8-1 at No. 2 doubles.

North Central is back on the court Saturday, February 22, hosting Webster University and Dominican University in a pair of dual matches inside the Res/Rec Center.
