Updated Tournament Bracket

Mar. 10, 2013 - North Central College has been designated the host institution for the Cardinals' third-round game against College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) rival Illinois Wesleyan University in the 2013 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship.

The third-ranked Cardinals (26-3) advanced to the tournament's round of 16 for the second straight season on Saturday with a 64-60 victory over the fifth-ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The victory was North Central's first against the defending national champions and was the Cardinals' 10th consecutive win.

The 10th-ranked Titans (23-5) opened the championship with an 80-71 win over Transylvania University before defeating Washington University in St. Louis on Saturday, 71-67. IWU hosted the Cardinals on Jan. 23, winning by a 69-61 score, before North Central knocked off the Titans, 87-83, in overtime at Gregory Arena on Feb. 19.

Saturday's tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Saturday prior to game time and will be $7 for adults and $4 for senior citizens, students and children. Children under two years of age will be admitted free of charge. Plans for advance ticket sales will be announced as soon as they have been finalized.
