MILWAUKEE, Wis. (Sept. 5, 2010)-- April Kutchinski recorded a goal and an assist, helping the North Central College women's soccer team rebound from Saturday night's loss with a 3-0 victory over host Wisconsin Lutheran College at the Warrior Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Kutchinski got the Cardinals (2-1) on the board in the 27th minute with an unassisted goal before assisting on an Erin Martin goal just five minutes later, pushing the visitor's edge to 2-0. North Central headed to the locker room at half with a 16-0 edge in shots.

Nora Wessels scored the game's final goal in the 80th minute, giving North Central the three-goal cushion. The Cardinals ended the game with a 34-3 advantage in shots, including a 15-0 edge in shots on goal.

Amy Frazzini logged all 90 minutes in goal. recording her second shutout of the season while Wisconsin Lutheran's (0-3) Katie Sloan recorded 12 saves in the losing effort.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville won the Warrior Cup, defeating WLC, 3-1, on Friday while downing North Central, 1-0, on Saturday.

The Cardinals return to action on Wednesday, September 8, traveling downstate to face Greenville College with kickoff slated for 4 p.m.
