Jun. 1, 2010-- Video coverage of Sam Sweeney's run at the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship is now available online, courtesy of Naperville Community Television.

Sweeney (19-4) defeated Washington & Lee University's Hayden White, 6-3, 6-4, in the round of 32 before falling, 6-2, 6-3, to Andy Peters of the National Championship winning Middlebury College Panthers, ending his run at the single elimination tournament.

Sweeney was the first North Central College player to earn a bid to the National Championships after wrapping up the regular season ranked third in the Central Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

The Cardinals (7-15) finished fourth at the CCIW Tournament in 2010, the squad's highest finish this decade.
