D3football.com Top 25 Poll
Nov. 16, 2009 - The North Central College football team is ranked 17th in this week's national Top 25 Poll released by D3football.com.
The Cardinals (8-2) defeated Elmhurst College, 49-24, to finish 6-1 in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin and clinch their fourth straight CCIW Championship. North Central shares the conference crown with Illinois Wesleyan University, which is ranked 14th this week.
The top 15 spots in the poll were unchanged from the previous week. Mount Union College (Ohio) remains the No. 1 team in Division III, receiving 19 first-place votes, while the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is ranked second, having received six first-place votes.
