A member of the North Central faculty since 2009, Dr. VanHorn has been a faculty mentor for the football team since 2016.

"My family and I enjoy cheering for all of our Cardinals at home football games during the fall. Meeting our first-year student-athletes during summer camp is also something I look forward to every year."

A member of the North Central faculty since 2002, Prof. Wienke has been a faculty mentor for the wrestling team since 2005 and joined as a faculty mentor for the football program in 2021. 




Dr. Timothy Woods, Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies

Dr. Woods joined the North Central faculty in January 2021 and became a faculty mentor for the football program prior to the 2021 season.

"Competing as a student athlete in college was formative, but seldom easy. Through athletics faculty mentoring I hope to provide North Central football players with a supportive resource who has valuable shared experiences."
