Red Noise Pep Band

2010-2011 Red Noise Roster
2010-2011 Performance Schedule
Spirit is rising and home court advantage is now a factor at North Central College, due in part to The Red Noise Pep Band.

The Red Noise was formed in the fall of 2004. They can be heard at all NCC home football games in Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium and at men’s and women’s basketball contests in Merner Field House. The band also does its part to enhance the collegiate atmosphere by performing at non-athletic events across campus.

While the band has auditions for part assignments, everyone is welcome to participate regardless of experience level. The band includes The Red Thunder Drumline and the color guard during football season.  Anyone interested in joining the Red Noise is invited to fill out our questionnaire.

The Red Noise is active year round, but our schedule is very manageable and our #1 rule is that we always have fun with anything we are doing from practice to performance to traveling to other campus community events.

Why join the Red Noise?

When becoming a part of the band, you instantly have friends and a family at North Central. While the band meets for games and rehearsals, they also schedule social events with other band members both on and off campus along with making you a vital part of the excitement that the athletic organizations bring to the College.

Will I have time to play in the Band?
Everyone worries about how to manage their time when they are in college. The organization understands these concerns and is flexible with class schedules, work schedules, and personal commitments. Your success is important at North Central College, and your academics always come first.
