North Central College recently announced its winners of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference Awards for fall 2009, as well as its 84 Academic All-CCIW honorees for the fall season. Josh Delancy has received All-America honors for the second time this season, as he has been selected to the 2009 All-America Third Team by D3football.com.

Wrestling
Gabe Youel has been honored by the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin as its Co-Wrestler of the Week for Jan. 25-31.
Youel, who shares this week's award with Mark Corsello of Elmhurst College, won four straight matches en route to the 184-pound championship at the Wheaton College Pete Willson Invitational. He is the tournament's first four-time champion since the event's namesake, Pete Willson, in 1950.
Youel has an overall record of 26-3 this season and is ranked third nationally in Division III at 184 pounds by the National Wrestling Coaches Association. He is the third Cardinal to receive Wrestler of the Week honors this season, joining teammates Nathan Fitzenreider and J.T. Rowe.

Women's Track and Field
Michelle Criscione was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week of Jan. 26.
Criscione cleared a personal-best 5 feet 6 1/2 inches in the high jump on Friday at the First Meet Ever hosted at the Al B. Carius Track, winning the event by over five inches. The mark was a provisional qualifying height and is currently the fourth best performance in Division III this season.
